Bangx Ngux Liuf (adapted from Medea)
The project was based on the play Medea. I altered its background to an alternate time of China which incorporates modern tech with traditional aesthetic designs in order to enhance the sense of identification of Chinese audience.
I also gave many altered background settings to the homelands of the main characters, the features of which are those of different regions of China,
I was inspired by the clothing style of Miao people when designing the costume of the female protagonist.
The accessories were handmade by myself with coke cans.
I designed the costumes of the other characters also based on the altered background settings of their homelands.
